Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr. Du Chaohui, currently an independent non-executive director of the company, is the dean and distinguished professor of the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, an executive director of the Chinese Society of Power Engineering, and the chairman of the Shanghai Engineering Thermophysics Society. Mr. Du Chaohui has conducted postdoctoral research and served as a visiting researcher at the University of Tokyo in Japan, Seoul National University in South Korea, and the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in the United States. He has also served as the Executive Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering. Mr. Du Chaohui is engaged in theoretical and experimental research on power machinery. In the past five years, he has led more than 20 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Defense Basic Research Program, the National Key Research and Development Program, and international scientific research cooperation projects. He has published over 120 papers, obtained 11 national invention patents, and won the second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award and the first prize of the Shanghai Technical Invention Award. Mr. Du Chaohui graduated from Northwestern Polytechnical University with a PhD in Engineering.
